With a 5-1 record, Oregon State equaled its best start to a season since the 1980-81 team opened with 26 straight wins. Other seasons the Beavers opened 5-1 include: 1981-82, 1984-85, 1986-87, 1989-90, 1997-98, 1998-99 and 2002-03.
The Beavers have already matched last season's road win total (1) and neutral site win total (1).

Sophomore Devon Collier led the Beavers in scoring for the second straight game, the first time he has led the team in consecutive games in his career. He has now scored in double-figures in five consecutive games.
Collier tied a career-high with three assists, the fourth time he's had that many assists in a game.
Junior Joe Burton tied a career-high with four steals. He also had four in the season opener against CSU Bakersfield.
Sophomore Roberto Nelson had a season-high 12 points, going 4-of-8 from the field, including 2-of-4 from the three-point line, and 2-of-2 from the stripe.
Junior Jared Cunningham had a season-high three assists for the third consecutive game.
Sophomores Rhys Murphy and Daniel Jones both played for the first time since the second game of the season against West Alabama.
