
Blakely Drummond Signs With Beavers

CORVALLIS – Forward Sean Blakely Drummond has signed with the Oregon State men's basketball team, head coach Justin Joyner announced Monday.
Blakely Drummond will join the Beavers as a sophomore after spending his freshman campaign at San Francisco.

Blakely Drummond joins the Beavers after spending his freshman season at San Francsico. He appeared in five games, scoring his first career points in the Don's season-opener against UC Santa Cruz. Blakely Drummond also saw action for the Dons in their WCC Tournament victory over Portland.
"We are thrilled to welcome Sean Blakely Drummond to Oregon State," Joyner said. "Sean is the type of player every program wants because of the impact he makes both on and off the floor. He is an elite locker room presence whose leadership, attitude, and work ethic will elevate the culture of our program from day one.
"On the court, Sean brings tremendous value as a true 3-and-D player who competes at a high level on both ends of the floor. He understands winning basketball, embraces his role, and consistently does the little things that help teams succeed. We're excited about the toughness, professionalism, and character he will bring to Beaver Basketball."
Blakely Drummond played high school ball at SoCal Academy in Northridge, Calif. He earned All-Academic honors, finishing with a 4.0 GPA. Blakely Drummond also played for Rolling Loud in the Overtime Elite basketball league in 2023-24. His brother, Dio Blakely is also a college basketball player, and is preparing to enter his sophomore season at Washington State.
