BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - Freshman Devon Collier had a career-high 14 points and senior Calvin Haynes moved into 21st on Oregon State's all-time scoring list, but the Beavers fell to California, 85-57, on Thursday night.
Markhuri Sanders-Frison had 15 points and nine rebounds and freshman Allen Crabbe added 12 points and seven rebounds for Cal (11-9, 4-4 Pac-10), which kicked off a four-game homestand at Haas Pavilion.
Sophomore Jared Cunningham had a team-high 15 points and was 11-of-12 from the free throw line, while senior Lathen Wallace had 12 points and Haynes finished with 10 points and six rebounds. Haynes passed Jim Jarvis and Will Brantley and now has 1,150 career points in an Oregon State uniform.
The Beavers (8-11, 3-5) play at Stanford at 7 p.m. on Saturday in a game televised on FSN Northwest.
