• Enjoys playing the mandolin, the didgeridoo and knitting
• Chose Oregon State because “it has a wonderful program for the biological professions, especially marine. The team atmosphere was absolutely killer. It just all around seemed like the ultimate place to gain an education that will help catapult me into a successful and fulfilling life in the future”
• Spent two weeks on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic
• Majoring in marine biology
