
Lucas To Compete In High School 3-Point Championship

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Incoming freshman Jarod Lucas has been selected to compete in the High School 3-Point Championship during Final Four weekend in Minneapolis.
The event includes eight competitors and will take place at 12:30 p.m. PT on Sunday and be televised live on CBS.
Lucas, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound point guard from Hacienda Heights, Calif., ended his high school career as the all-time leading scorer in CIF Southern Section history with 3,356 points. He was a four-time Hacienda League Most Valuable Player, four-time All-CIF and four-time All-State selection
Oregon State's 2019 recruiting class includes Julien Franklin, a 6-foot-7, 190-pound shooting guard from Villa Park, Calif., Gianni Hunt, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound point guard from Torrance, Calif., and Lucas.
