Oregon State Returns Home for Final Home Games of 2018

Oregon State hosts Arizona Thursday at 7 p.m. and Arizona State Sunday at 11 a.m.
The Games: Oregon State women's soccer team (2-14-0, 1-7-0) hosts the final two home games of this season against Arizona (10-4-2, 3-3-2) on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Arizona State (8-5-1, 3-3-1) on Sunday at 11 a.m.

What's Coming Up: Oregon State travels to Eugene to face Oregon in the Civil War game and the final game of the 2018 season on November 2 at 6 p.m.
Double the Beavs: Both games this week will be a double-header featuring the men's and women's soccer programs. Thursday night, the men host San Diego State at 3 p.m. followed by the women at 7 p.m. On Sunday, the women play at 11 a.m. followed by the men hosting UCLA at 2 p.m.
Senior Sunday: Oregon State will celebrate its senior class in a special pregame ceremony on Sunday. Get to Lorenz Field early, as the Beavers bid farewell to Kate Evans, Jada Krening, Allison Pantuso, Emery Wallerich and Jessi Witherington before the Arizona State game.

- Sydney Studer scored her first career goal as a Beaver against California.
- Emma Deane made her OSU debut in goal against Washington State.
- These 11 span from two countries (United States and Jamaica) and four different states (Oregon, California, Hawaii and Washington).
The Returners
- Redshirt freshman McKenzie Weinert has scored two goals this season in back-to-back games (vs. Dartmouth - first career goal, and vs. Texas Tech).
- Senior Kate Evans recorded the first goal for the Beavers in the 2018 season off a free kick against Stony Brook.
- Senior Allison Pantuso recorded her first goal of the season against California off a penalty shot.
- Lindsay Lamont had a penalty shot save and a career high 12 saves against No. 1 Stanford.
- Allison Pantuso returns for her senior year after leading the 2017 team in the minute's category with 1723.
- The Beavers return four athletes who scored a goal last season (Leblic, Lemmond, O'Connor and Santiago).
- Diana Santiago is the only returner who recorded a goal and an assist last season.
The Staff:
- Head Coach Linus Rhode is entering his 11th season at the helm of the Oregon State women's soccer team.
- Rhode has 88 career wins at Oregon State, which ranks first for the most wins in Oregon State history.
- Prior to becoming a head coach, Rhode was an assistant and associate coach for the Beavers for eight seasons.
- The Beavers enter their second season with Michelle Voiland as the associate head coach after being a longtime assistant with the program.
- Vanessa Valentine returns for her second season as assistant coach.
The Schedule:
- Oregon State has faced seven top-25 teams and one receiving votes so far this season (as of day game was played): No. 18 Kansas (Aug. 24), No. 25 Texas Tech (Sept. 9), No. 23 Colorado (Sept. 21), No. 9 Washington State (Sept. 30), No. 1 Stanford (Oct. 7), No. 2 USC (Oct. 18), No. 9 UCLA (Oct. 21) and RV Nebraska (Aug. 26).
- The Beavers took on foes from six different conferences in non-league play. OSU faced two teams from the Big 12, two from the West Coast, and one each from the ACC, Big 10, American East and Ivy League.
- The Beavers will be on TV nine times this year, with their sixth and seventh Pac-12 Network appearances coming against USC and UCLA next weekend.

- Rachel Axon currently plays for Kolbotn Fotball in the Norwegian league.
- Greta Espinoza plays for Tigres Femenil in Mexico.
- Espinoza was a member of the Mexico National Team who recently won a gold medal at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Columbia.
- Bella Geist was picked in the third round (29th overall) by the Portland Thorns in the 2018 draft.
- Geist recently signed a contract with FFC Frankfurt in Germany.
- Emma Jones recently signed a contract to play for the Linkopings FC in Sweden.
- Natalie Higgins signed a contract on Sept. 16 to play for Ravenna Women in Italy.
