• Oregon State has won three consecutive season openers for the first time since reeling off six in a row from 1996 to 2001.
• The 102 points is the most scored by an Oregon State team since Nov. 25, 1997 when the Beavers tied a school record with 116 points in a win over UC San Diego.
• The Beavers had six players score in double figures a year after doing it twice (101-68 win over Portland State; 103-101 quadruple-overtime loss to Stanford).
• Oregon State had 52 rebounds in the game, a year after grabbing 50 or more in a game just once (54 vs. Stanford in quadruple-overtime).
• The Beavers had 20 assists in the game on 38 baskets, a feat it accomplished seven times last season with the most being 27 against Portland State (12/18/11).
• Oregon State shot 56.7 percent (38-67) from the field. The Beavers were 15-1 last season when shooting 50%-plus in a game.
Eric Moreland posted his fourth career double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. He had three double doubles last season.
• Moreland tied his career high with 14 points and set a career high with seven field goals made. He had 14 points in the final game last season, a loss to Washington State in the CBI (3/21/12).
Ahmad Starks set a career high with six three-pointers made. His previous career best was five in four different games (most recently vs. California on 1/5/12).
• Starks tied his career high with seven rebounds. He had seven boards in two other games (most recently vs. TCU on 3/19/12 in the CBI).
Devon Collier set a career high with six assists. His previous high was four in three different games (most recently vs. TCU on 3/19/12 in the CBI).
Roberto Nelson tied a career high in field goal attempts (15), three-pointers made (5), three-pointers attempted (8) and steals (3). He also had 15 field goal attempts against Idaho (12/9/11), five three-pointers made against Illinois-Chicago (12/13/11), eight three-pointers attempted vs. Idaho and three steals in two games (most recently at Oregon on 1/29/11).
Angus Brandt tied a career high with 13 field goal attempts. He also had 13 against Oregon on Feb. 26, 2012.
Jullian Powers scored his first career points on a layup after going scoreless in nine games last season.
• Freshman Langston Morris-Walker, Jarmal Reid, Victor Robbins and Olaf Schaftenaar all made their Oregon State debut, as did Michael Moyer who had to sit out last season after transferring from St. John Fisher College.
