Team Notes
Oregon State started the Pac-10 season 2-0 for the first time since 2004-05 and just the second time since 1992-93.
Four players scored in double figures for the ninth time in 13 games this season and the Beavers are 7-2 when it happens.
The Beavers outscored Arizona 17-2 in second chance points.
There were 11 ties and one lead change in the game.
The win is the third in a row against Arizona, which is the longest win streak against the Wildcats since the Beavers won 11 straight from 1978-1984.
Oregon State has outrebounded its opponent three out of the last four games and are 3-1 in those games.
Player Notes
Sophomore Jared Cunningham made his first eight free throw attempts before missing in the second half and tied the school record of 34 consecutive set by Vince Fritz in 1967.
Senior Calvin Haynes scored 18 points to give him 1,105 for his career and move into 25th all-time at Oregon State.
Sophomore Joe Burton scored 16 points on 7-of-12 from the floor and has scored 33 points on 14-of-21 from the floor over the past two games.
Senior Omari Johnson led the team in rebounding for the 10th time this season.
Haynes made five straight free throws in the last 1:08 of the game.
Haynes and Cunningham were a combined 19-of-22 from the free throw line in the game and the Beavers as a team were 24-of-32.
