Team Notes
Oregon State used its sixth different starting lineup this season with Jared Cunningham and Roberto Nelson at guard, Omari Johnson and Devon Collier at forward and Angus Brandt at center.
Oregon State scored 80 points and has 80 or more points in six games this season after scoring 80 or more in only one game last season.
The Beavers have three consecutive wins over USC for the first time since they defeated the Trojans six straight times from 1987 to 1990.
Four Oregon State players scored in double-figures and the Beavers have all eight of their wins this season when that happens.
The Beavers had their second best shooting night of the season at 55.8 percent (24-of-43). Their best was 56.0 percent (28-of-50) on Dec. 12 against Texas-Pan American.
Oregon State is 4-0 this season when shooting 50 percent or better from the field.
The Beavers bench outscored USC, 32-17.
The Beavers had a season-high five blocked shots.
Player Notes
Senior Omari Johnson had his third double-double of the season, and fourth of his career, with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Johnson had a team-high 11 rebounds and has led or tied for the team lead in rebounding in 12 of the 17 games this season.
Johnson scored in double-figures for the first time in the past nine games after scoring in double-figures in seven of the first eight games.
Sophomore Jared Cunningham had a career-high 24 points and has scored 20 or more points in four of his last eight games.
Freshman Roberto Nelson made his first career start for the Beavers and scored all six of his points in the second half.
Senior Calvin Haynes scored 11 points and was a perfect 5-of-5 from the floor, including 1-of-1 from three-point land.
Haynes had 11 points and passed Vic Bartalome to move into 23rd on Oregon State's all-time scoring list with 1,140 points.
Sophomore Joe Burton had a career-high two blocked shots and freshman Devon Collier tied his career-high with two blocked shots.
