Oregon State vs. Arizona State
December 30, 2010
Gill Coliseum
Corvallis, Ore.
Team Notes
Oregon State won its Pac-10 opener for the first time since the 2004-05 season when it defeated UCLA, 85-80, on Dec. 31 at Gill Coliseum.
The 22-point win was its biggest Pac-10 win since the Beavers defeated Arizona State, 88-66, on Jan. 20, 2005 at Gill Coliseum.
The last time the Beavers won back-to-back games by 20+ points was 2001 when they defeated Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne, 84-59, on Dec. 27, and Lehigh, 78-55, on Dec. 31.
This is the fifth time the Beavers have scored 80 or more points this season. They scored 80 or more points just one time in 32 games last season.
Four players scored in double-figures (Burton 17, Cunningham 16, Nelson 12, Starks 12) for the eighth time this season and the Beavers are 6-2 in those games. Oregon State had four players score in double-figures in four of its 32 games last season.

Sophomore Joe Burton had a career-high 17 points. His previous career-high was 15 points in two games, most recently against Howard on Nov. 27, 2010.
