Team Notes
Oregon State recorded its best free throw percentage of the season (91.7) going 33-for-36 from the line.
The Beavers were second in the nation with 13.0 steals per game but recorded only two steals.
Oregon State is now 1-1 when scoring 70-79 points in a game.
The Beavers gave up a season-high 87 points. The previous season-high was 83 points by Seattle and Colorado.
Player Notes
Sophomore Jared Cunningham tied a career-high with 21 points. He also had 21 points against Boston University on March 17, 2010 in the College Basketball Invitational.
Cunningham was 15-of-15 from the free throw line, which are the most free throws made in a game while shooting a perfect free throw percentage. He passed Steve Johnson who was 14-of-14 against Washington on Jan. 24, 1981.
Cunningham's 15 free throws attempted and made are both career bests.
Angus Brandt got his first start of the season and third of his career after starting the final two games last season.
