CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Ty Abbott scored 18 of his season-high 21 points in the second half to lead Arizona State to a 66-57 victory over Oregon State on Saturday.
The Sun Devils (14-5, 4-2 Pac-10) led 30-29 at halftime then outscored the Beavers 22-9 in the first 8:07 of the second half.
Oregon State (8-9 2-3) trailed by 14 but cut the deficit to 58-54 on Seth Tarver's dunk with 2:41 left.
The Beavers couldn't get any closer as the Sun Devils hung on for their fourth straight conference win after starting the Pac-10 schedule 0-2.
Rihards Kuksiks added 15 points for Arizona State.
Calvin Haynes had 17 points for Oregon State.
