Oregon State - MVSU Post Game Quotes

OREGON STATE HEAD COACH Craig Robinson
On the 1st half tempo…
“Well I want to win every game by a lot of points, and hold the other team to not that many, and we didn't do either of those in the first half. At this point in the season, we cannot have a half like we did in the first half. We need to start games like we did in the second half.”
On the defense…
“I've got to credit our staff. MVSU did exactly what our staff said they were going to do. And that makes it easy on us. The guys they said were going to take the threes were shooting, the guys they said were going to handle the ball were doing that.”
On Kevin McShane…
“He's one of those guys that may be limited in talent, but makes up for it with work ethic. I look for him to help us with energy and again he comes through. I've said it before, as long as he's here, he can roll with me.”
OREGON STATE JUNIOR Omari Johnson
On how important it was to get this win…
“We felt like we needed to get this win since we've lost to the teams we thought we could beat. We needed this to raise our confidence to go into the next game, because we think the next game is going to be a hard game.”
On if there at the top of their game yet…
“I don't think we're there yet, I don't think we're that close. We need to work harder and get our minds where they're supposed to be before we go into the Pac-10.”
OREGON STATE JUNIOR Lathen Wallace
On coming back strong in the second half…
“Coach got on us real tough in the locker room and we just came in and gave energy. We made some changes at half time and the five guys that came out played well.”
On making the three's…
“It's just all about a rhythm and hitting the shots. The offense came to me and the offense came to Calvin and it was all about just making the shots.”
