Beavs and Dawgs to Tangle on Montlake Cut

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State men's rowing is back on the road this weekend, traveling to the Montlake Cut for a dual with Pac-12 foe Washington.
The Beavers and Huskies will compete in Varsity 8, 2V8 and 3V8 races on Saturday morning with no. 3 UW providing yet another test in a season full of them for OSU. The Huskies will be Oregon State's eighth top-25 opponent of the year with several more on the slate in the coming weeks.

LAST TIME OUT
Oregon State men's rowing battled two top-10 foes this weekend at Redwood Shores, competing but falling to Wisconsin, Syracuse and La Salle.
The 17th-ranked Beavs took on the no. 10 Badgers, no. 3 Orange and (RV) Explorers on the weekend while the 3V boat also battled Cal's 5V and 3V teams.
The 3V team picked up OSU's lone win on the weekend, defeating Cal's 5V by 9 seconds.
Oregon State also got encouraging results from the Varsity 8 on Sunday, coming within three seconds of knocking off Wisconsin. The 2V8 and 3V8 came even closer to beating the Badgers, falling short by less than two seconds in the day's final two races.
