
Beaver Women's Rowing Heads Coast-to-Coast for Regatta Hosted by Virginia

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State women's rowing is set to race for the second-consecutive weekend, as the Beavs are slated to participate in this weekend's ACC/Pac-12 Invite at Lake Monticello near Charlottesville, Va. During the two-day regatta, OSU will compete against California, Yale, Syracuse and host Virginia.
Beaver women's rowing is coming off a regatta at Ohio State that saw the second varsity four of Taylor Denger, Katie Judd, Megan Lautner, Isabella Mitchell and Elke Thursten get out to an early lead and keep their collective foot on the gas, resulting in a 23 second margin over Indiana with the Beavers posting a final time of 6:44.1.
Saturday racing will commence at 6:15 with the 1V8 followed by the 2V8 at 6:45, 1V4 at 7:15, 2V4 at 7:45, and 3V8 at 8:15. Sunday's schedule includes morning races at 5:00 (1V8), 5:45 (2V8), 6:30 (1V4), 7:15 (2V4) AND 7:45 (3V8); all times listed are Pacific Standard Time (PST).
After earning a preseason No. 20 ranking, OSU has climbed to No. 17 entering the weekend.

Oregon State is back on home waters for the next regatta, hosting five programs at the Dexter Lake Invite, slated for April 27 in Lowell, Ore.
