Beavers Head To The Bay

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State heads to the Bay Area this weekend for showdowns with California and no. 8 Stanford.

The Beavs are the first team out of this week's Associated Press Top 25 poll with 59 votes after a 2OT win over Arizona and a dominating, 37-point victory over ASU. Sunday's game will mark the third of OSU's four road games to come against an AP Top 10 team.

Pac-12 Player of the Week Raegan Beers led the Beavs to a sweep of the Arizonas with 47 points and 35 rebounds on the weekend, including a 20-20 game on Friday
Talia von Oelhoffen sent Friday's game to OT with a three-pointer in the closing seconds and scored 14 points in each game while dropping 13 dimes on the weekend
Kennedie Shuler had career-highs with 30 minutes vs UA and 6 assists vs. ASU

Kelsey Rees joined Oregon State as a grad transfer with two years remaining. The Australian brought 60 games of experience, including last season's Pac-12 Championship year, to Corvallis. She has been an impact player with her floor spacing (41.7% 3PT) and shot-blocking (1.3 blocks/game), filling two crucial needs for the Beavers and pairing well with Timea Gardiner (while playing the five) and Raegan Beers (while playing the four).

Oregon State has been one of the top teams in the Pac-12 since the 2014-15 season with a 106-54 record in league play. Beaver players have earned 11 All-Pac-12 First-Team nods over the last seven seasons and head coach Scott Rueck is one of five coaches in Pac-12 history to win the John R. Wooden Coach of the Year Award multiple times.

Talia von Oelhoffen reached three career milestones in 2023-24, officially hitting 1,000 points, 300 assists and 75 steals. TVO is the 3rd active Pac-12 player to reach those career milestones, joining Jaylyn Sherrod (Colorado) and Charisma Osborne (UCLA).
