Beaver WBB to Play Vandy, MTSU in Jacksonville Classic

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State will spend Thanksgiving week taking on two Nashville-area teams in the first women's edition of the Jacksonville Classic.

The inaugural women's event takes place November 23–25, 2026, at Florida State College in Jacksonville. Fans can purchase tournament passes here. Single day ticket information and the full schedule will be announced in the coming weeks at www.jacksonvilleclassic.com.

OSU will take on Vanderbilt over the holiday week for the second straight year after the two teams met at Paradise Jam on the Virgin Islands in 2025. The Commodores went on to make the Sweet 16 in 2026.

Oregon State will also match up with Middle Tennessee, which has won 20-or-more games in four of the last five seasons. The Beavs last battled the Blue Raiders in 2014 NCAA Tournament First Round, winning 55-36 behind a combined 30 points and 16 rebounds from current assistant coaches Deven Hunter and Sydney Wiese.

The Beavers return the WCC Defensive Player of the Year Kennedie Shuler and fellow All-WCC selection Jenna Villa for their return to the Pac-12. Oregon State won 20+ games last season for the 10th time under head coach Scott Rueck and hosted the first round of the WBIT.
