CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Pac-12 announced its women's basketball conference schedule on Friday morning, with Oregon State slated to open league play on January 6 at Gonzaga.
The Beavers and Zags, conference foes for the third year, will open play in the new Pac-12 after squaring off six times over the last two seasons including two WCC Tournament tilts. The teams split the games 3-3.
Following the battle with Gonzaga, OSU heads to Utah State before its Pac-12 home opener on January 13 against last season's MWC Regular Season champion: San Diego State. A battle with longtime Pac-12 foe Washington State will be January 17 in Corvallis.
The Beavs split January almost evenly between home and road games with four league opponents coming to Gill Coliseum (SDSU, WSU, Boise State, USU) and three road trips (Gonzaga, USU, Fresno State).
Oregon State will have eight days between its final game in January (1/30 v. USU) and its first game of February (2/7 at WSU). The Beavers then play three games in seven days against the Cougars, Zags and Texas State.
February wraps with two split weeks as the Beavs travel to San Diego State (Feb. 17) and Boise State (Feb. 24) for Wednesday road tilts with Sunday home games against Colorado State (Feb. 21) and Texas State (Feb. 28).
Pac-12 regular season play concludes in March with the Beavers hosting Fresno State (March 3) before traveling to Colorado State (March 6).
TV selections and tip times for conference games and non-conference home games will be announced at a later date. The Pac-12 media rights deal features 20-25 games on national television between the CW (15 games) and USA Sports (5-10 games).
The Pac-12 men's and women's basketball tournaments will be held March 9-13 at the MGM Garden Grand Arena in Las Vegas. The semifinals and championship game of the women's tournament will be nationally televised on the CW.
