
Oregon State Takes Four of Five Races at Washington State

COLTON, Wash. – For the third-straight year, Oregon State women's rowing retained possession of the Winchell Cup and Crawford Plate, taking the overall win and the victory in the first varsity eight to keep both trophies on Saturday morning at Wawawai Landing.
The Winchell Cup has been given annually since 2001 to the overall winner of the dual regatta between WSU and OSU, while the Crawford Perpetual Plate has been presented to the winner of the OSU/WSU first varsity eight race since 2003.
Mason Fischer, Annalise Bledsoe, Zoë Bishop, Zoe Eberle and Grace Sansoterra (cox) combined for a time of 8:00.64 to take second in the first race of the day, while Washington State picked up the win with a time of 7:56.09 in the 2V4+.
The 2V8+ of Charlotte Gregory (cox), Kathryn Worley, Giulia Clerici, Kaitlyn Judd, Rebecca Logan, Megan Lautner, Tulla Angeley, Rebecca Falash and Torree Hawken picked up the Beavs first victory of the day, with a win of nearly nine seconds.
The wins continued for Oregon State, as the 1V4+ of Alexa Ellis, Margo Calub, Anna Godfrey, Sasha Delman and Taylor Denger (cox) finished seven seconds ahead of the Cougs with a time of 7:47.07 to earn the second victory of the day.
In the battle for the Crawford Plate, the 1V8+ of AnnaRuth Neville (cox), Muryn Greene, Maeve Donnelly, Evan Park, Sierra Bishop, Kathryn Clemens, Rhianna Loughnan, Anneka Davys and Annelise Norkitis finished nearly five seconds clear of WSU to retain the Crawford Plate and clinch the Winchell Cup for the Beavs.
Oregon State picked up its fourth and final victory of the day, as the 3V8+ of Tamsyn Adams (cox), Bledsoe, Z. Bishop, Eberle, Ashtyn Miller, Anne Neils, Madeline Toaso, Taylor Kopaskey and Sofia DeLange capped the day with a time of 7:21.10 to finish ahead of both WSU boats.
