Women’s Rowing Heads to Wawawai Landing for Dual with Washington State

CORVALLIS, ORE. – The No. 17 Oregon State rowing team continues its season traveling to face the Cougars at Wawawai Landing on the Snake River.
The Beavs will start the day with the 2V4+, with the full schedule as follows…
8 a.m. PT – 2V4+
8:15 a.m. PT – 2V8+
8:30 a.m. PT – 1V4+
8:45 a.m. PT – 1V8+
9 a.m. PT – 3V8+/N8+
OSU will look to retain possession of the Winchell Cup and Crawford Plate. Oregon State comes to Wawawai Landing in possession of both trophies after winning them for the second-straight year last season at Dexter Lake.
The Winchell Cup has been given annually since 2001 to the overall winner of the dual regatta between WSU and OSU, while the Crawford Perpetual Plate has been presented to the winner of the OSU/WSU first varsity eight race since 2003.
The Oregon State Women's Rowing Twitter account will share updates and results throughout the day.
