Oregon State split a doubleheader with Cal Poly Saturday in San Luis Obispo. The Beavers dropped a 4-2 decision in game one before winning the series finale, 3-1. OSU took three of the four games in California after winning the first two. Jaren Hunter threw a career-long 8 2/3 innings in game two Saturday, scattering five hits and a run with five strikeouts. Â Gavin Turley drove in the game-winning runs on a single in the third. Mason Guerra hit a solo home run in game one to highlight the OSU offense, but the Beavers left 11 on base in the two-run loss.

• Travis Bazzana carries a 10-game hit streak into Tuesday's game. He is 16-for-37 (.432) with six doubles, a triple and eight RBI during the streak.
