July 04, 2026 | Baseball
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Travis Bazzana, Drew Rasmussen and Adley Rutschman have been named Major League Baseball All-Stars, giving Oregon State three representatives for the second consecutive season.
Â
Rutschman is an All-Star for a third time while Rasmussen is a repeat selection from 2025. Bazzana, meanwhile, has been selected in his rookie season.
Â
The 2026 game will be played in Philadelphia on July 14 at 5 p.m. PT. It will air on FOX.
Â
Bazzana, the No. 1 overall selection in the 2024 MLB Draft, is batting .255 with seven home runs, 27 runs batted in and 12 stolen bases in 57 games for Cleveland since making his MLB debut on April 28.
Â
Rasmussen is 7-4 with a 2.45 earned run average in 16 games – all starts – for Tampa Bay this season. The righty, who has yet to start a game in July, was exceptional in June. He scattered three earned runs in 33 innings in the month, holding opponents to 16 hits and four walks with 39 strikeouts.
Â
Rasmussen pitched a scoreless frame in last year's MLB All-Star Game in Atlanta.
Â
Rutschman – the No. 1 overall selection in the 2019 MLB Draft - has played in 58 games for Baltimore this season and is batting .252 with 16 doubles, a triple, eight home runs and 43 RBI.
Â
Rutschman has three career All-Star at bats, going to the plate once in 2023 in Seattle and twice in 2024 in Arlington.
