Kyler McMahan and Tyler Malone each hit solo home runs and the Beavers battled back from 3-0 and 5-2 deficits but lost, 7-6, to Cincinnati Friday night at Goss Stadium. McMahan's was the first of his career. For Malone, it marked his ninth.

Oregon State is one of just four programs nationally that hosted an NCAA Regional in 2017, 2018 and now 2019. The Beavers are joined by Stanford, Texas Tech and Arkansas.
Rutschman's Big Week
Adley Rutschman became the second player in Oregon State history to be named a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award. He joins Michael Conforto (2014). Rutschman was also named the Pac-12's Player of the Year on Wednesday and the league's Co-Defensive Player of the Year. On Thursday, he was selected as Collegiate Baseball's National Player of the Year.

Adley Rutschman's first-inning double marked the 39th of his career, tying the junior with Brian Barden (2000-02) and KJ Harrison (2015-17) for the 10th-most in a career at Oregon State.

The Beavers and Bearcats played in front of 3,824 fans at Friday night's game. Oregon State has now posted 80 consecutive crowds of 3,000 or more dating back to the 2017 season.
