Preston Jones hit his second home run of the season to help send Oregon State to a 9-3 win over Arizona on Saturday, completing a sweep of the Wildcats in the doubleheader and series. Jake Dukart tallied three hits, while Jones, Jake Harvey and Elliot Willy all posted two. Willy drove in a career-best three runs in the win.
Versus Nevada
Oregon State is meeting Nevada for the second consecutive season after sweeping a pair of non-conference games at Goss Stadium. The Beavers have won five straight over Nevada dating back to 2008. OSU won a pair over the Wolf Pack in Reno in 2012, 6-5 and 10-7.Â
Dukart's Big Weekend
Jake Dukart had a big doubleheader versus Arizona, combining to go 5-for-6. He set a career-high with three hits in the second game of the doubleheader. He is on a three-game hit streak heading into the two midweek games, where he is 7-for-11.
