Beavers, Huskies To Battle Wednesday In Seattle

THE GAME: Oregon State (17-11, 9-7 Pac-12) hits the road to face the Washington Huskies (23-6, 14-2 Pac-12) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle.

The Beavers have lost 14 straight games to the Huskies in Seattle with the last Oregon State win coming on Feb. 20, 2003 (80-72). It's the Beavers' longest current road losing streak to a Pac-12 opponent.
Washington won the first meeting this season, 79-69, on Jan. 26 at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis. Stephen Thompson Jr. scored 30 points, and hit a career-high six 3-pointers, to lead the Beavers. Tres Tinkle added 18 points and nine rebounds, and Ethan Thompson finished with nine points, five rebounds and six assists. Jaylen Nowell scored 19 points with three 3-pointers, Nahziah Carter added 18 points and David Crisp had 14. Matisse Thybulle finished with 11 points and five steals.
Oregon State won two of the three meetings between the teams last season with none of the games decided by more than three points. The first was 97-94 in a double-overtime thriller on Feb. 10 in Corvallis. The second was 69-66 in overtime on March 7 in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas. Washington won in Seattle, 79-77, on March 1 in Seattle.
