CORVALLIS  – The Oregon State men's basketball team fell to Pacific 81-64 Saturday afternoon at Gill Coliseum.

Yaak Yaak matched a season high 13 points, seven of which came at the free throw stripe. He pulled down five rebounds and went 6-for-8 from the line. Josiah Lake II scored nine points, while Dez White finished with eight.

Johan Munch ended his day with seven points.

Elias Ralph led Pacific with 20 points.

The teams traded punches early on, heading to the under-12 media break level at 11. Pacific used an 8-0 run to grab a six-point advantage mid-way through the first half, before Oregon State leveled the score at 22 with six minutes to go before the intermission.

Neither team was able to grab control of the contest late in the opening frame, as the Tigers led 35-32 at the break.

The Tigers opened up a double-figure advantage less than five minutes into the second half. Pacific led by as many as 19 before taking the 17-point win.

Oregon State will hit the road next week for a Wednesday matchup with Saint Mary's.
