Beavers takes on the Red Raiders in Lubbock, Texas
THE GAMES: Oregon State women's soccer team hits the road this week to Lubbock, Texas for a Sunday match-up with No. 25 Texas Tech. The game is set to kick-off at 5 p.m.

- Three of these starters are freshmen (Brown, Skiba and Studer).
- Five players saw all 184-minutes of action this past weekend against Gonzaga and Dartmouth (Fonsen, Fried, Pantuso, Skiba and Studer).
- Oregon State ended the 2018 season with back-to-back wins over Utah and Oregon.
- OSU scored 10 goals last season, the fewest total since 2014.
- The Beavers committed the fewest amount of fouls during the 2017 season that they have committed in the last decade.
- Oregon State made the least shot attempts in the Pac-12 last season, with an average of 10.37 per match.
- OSU placed 14 players on the Pac-12 All-Academic team last season, including seven players that will return to the squad this season (Fonsen, Lemmond, Nickerson, Pantuso, Santiago, Wallerich and Witherington).
- The team welcomes 11 newcomers to the roster for the 2018 season.
- These 11 span from two countries (United States and Jamaica) and four different states (Oregon, California, Hawaii and Washington).
- Erica MacDonald transferred to Oregon State as a junior from Diablo Valley Junior College.
- Six newcomers have seen time in the first six matches of the season (Brown, Liddell, Hackbarth, Keawekane, Skiba and Studer).
- Bridgette Skiba leads the Pac-12 with 26 saves on the season as of Sept. 3.
- Allison Pantuso returns for her senior year after leading the 2017 team in the minute's category with 1723.
- The Beavers return four athletes who scored a goal last season (Leblic, Lemmond, O'Connor and Santiago).
- Diana Santiago is the only returner who recorded a goal and an assist last season.
- Senior Kate Evans recorded the first goal for the Beavers in the 2018 season off a free kick against Stony Brook.
- Head Coach Linus Rhode is entering his 11th season at the helm of the Oregon State women's soccer team, and is looking to lead the Beavers to their fourth NCAA tournament appearance under his watch.
- Rhode has 87 career wins at Oregon State, which ranks first for the most wins in Oregon State history.
- Prior to becoming a head coach Rhode was an assistant and associate coach for the Beavers for eight seasons.
- The Beavers enter their second season with Michelle Voiland as the associate head coach after being a longtime assistant with the program.
- Vanessa Valentine returns for her second season as assistant coach.
- Ten of Oregon State's 19 matches will be home games, including five of its eight nonconference contests.
- The Beavers will face four preseason ranked opponents this season, as well as four other teams that received votes from the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll.
- Four of Oregon State's nonconference opponents come from power conferences.
- The Beavers will take on foes from six different conferences in non-league play. OSU will face two teams from the Big 12, two from the West Coast, and one each from the ACC, Big 10, American East and Ivy League.

- Jodie Taylor currently plays for Seattle Reign FC.
- Taylor recently helped Melbourne City FC win the 2017/18 Westfield W-League Championships.
- She was a member of England's Euro 2017 squad, scoring the winning goal to send the Lionesses to the semi-finals.
- She was recently nominated for the Best International Women's Soccer Player at the 2018 ESPYs.
- Rachel Axon currently plays for Kolbotn Fotball in the Norwegian league.
- Greta Espinoza plays for the Spanish club Levante.
- Espinoza was a member of the Mexico National Team who recently won a gold medal at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Columbia.
- Bella Geist was picked in the third round (29th overall) by the Portland Thorns in the 2018 draft.
- Emma Jones recently signed a contract to play for the Linkopings FC in Sweden.

- Freshman Helena Brown recorded her first goal as a Beaver in the 88th minute of play.
- Oregon State took eight shots throughout the game (Malone and Studer, 2; Brown, Fried, Pantuso and Weinert, 1).
- Bridgette Skiba recorded three saves.
- Final score: Oregon State - 1, Dartmouth - 0 in overtime.
- Redshirt freshman McKenzie Weinert scored her first career goal in the 93rd minute of play to give Oregon State a 1-0 win over Dartmouth.
- Junior Ashleigh Fonsen was rewarded with the assist of Weinert's goal.
- The Beavers took a total of 14 shots against Dartmouth (Weinert, 6; O'Connor, 3; Brown, Fried, Lemmond, Liddell and Studer, 1).
- Bridgette Skiba recorded seven saves to keep Dartmouth scoreless and earn her first shut-out of her career.
