Tres Tinkle Named First Team All-Pac-12
March 04, 2018 | Men's Basketball
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Tres Tinkle was named First Team All-Pac-12 as selected by a vote of the conference coaches, Commissioner Larry Scott announced Monday.
Â
Tinkle, a redshirt sophomore from Missoula, Mont., is the only Pac-12 player to score in double figures every game this season. He's also the only Pac-12 player in the top 10 in the conference in scoring (18.0, sixth), rebounding (7.2, tied for eighth), assists (3.8, 10th) and steals (1.4, tied for eighth).
Â
The 6-foot-8 forward has scored in double figures in 33 consecutive games dating back to last season, tied for the fifth-longest streak in Oregon State history (Freddie Boyd).
Â
Tinkle was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week on Feb. 12 after averaging 24.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 2.0 steals in wins over Washington State and Washington
Â
It's the 10th straight year an Oregon State player has earned All-Pac-12 recognition. The Beavers now have 38 All-Pac-12 selections since 1979.

Oregon State opens the Pac-12 Tournament at 6 p.m. on Wednesday against Washington at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The game will be televised on Pac-12 Network.
