Oregon State scored six runs in the eighth innings to overcome a two-run deficit and send the Beavers to a 10-8 victory over Ohio State on Friday. All six runs were unearned and five came with two outs. Kevin Abel struck out 10 in 4 1/3 innings of relief. Nick Madrigal and Adley Rutschman each had two hits to pace the Beavers.

Fans should note some changes on Saturday's radio broadcast as both the Oregon State men's basketball team and the Portland Trail Blazers will play at approximately the same time. The baseball game versus Nebraska will air on KTHH 990 AM in the Corvallis/Albany area and 103.7 FM in Portland. The first meeting between the teams saw Nick Madrigal and Cadyn Grenier both tally three hits and Luke Heimlich strike out eight in 6 1/3 innings. Madrigal homered in the third, his second of the season.
