THE GAME: The No. 8 Oregon State women's basketball team will host the third annual Maui Jim Maui Classic this week in Lahaina, Hawaii. The Beavers will face Eastern Washington Friday and Texas A&M Saturday. Both games will tip at 9:30 p.m. PT/7:30 p.m. HT.

WHAT'S COMING UP: Oregon State will return home next week to face Duke on Dec. 20.

OSU VS. EASTERN WASHINGTON: Oregon State is 7-3 all-time vs. Eastern Washington, and has won the last five meetings between the two teams. The Beavers and Eagles haven't gone head-to-head since 2011, and OSU has not dropped a game to EWU since 1985.

OSU VS. TEXAS A&M: Oregon State and Texas A&M have split the series 1-1. The two sides have not met since the 1987-88 season.

QUICK HITTERS:
- Oregon State is 123-24 since the start of the 2014-15 season, the seventh-best record in the nation over that span, trailing only UConn, Notre Dame, Baylor, Maryland, South Carolina and Louisville.
- The Beavers have won at least seven of their first eight games four times in the last five seasons.
- Oregon State has set the Pac-12 record for rebounding margin in consecutive games. The Beavers posted a +47 showing Sunday vs. Santa Clara, a little over a week after winning the rebounding battle vs. La Salle by 46.
- The Beavers are one of nine teams in the nation to make the Sweet 16 in each of the last three seasons, joining UConn, South Carolina, Notre Dame, Baylor, Stanford, Texas, UCLA and Mississippi State.
- Oregon State has made the NCAA Tournament five-straight seasons, and has 11 NCAA Tournament wins over that span.
- OSU has 75 Pac-12 wins over the last five seasons, joining Stanford as the only teams in conference history to accomplish that feat.

FULFILL YOUR DESTINY: Destiny Slocum Quick Hitters
- Redshirted the 2017-18 season due to NCAA transfer rules
- Recorded her second double-double of the season on Sunday, going for 12 points and 10 assists.
- Slocum is the sixth player in Oregon State history with multiple point-assist double-doubles.
- Has scored at least 15 points in five of her eight games this season, including a pair of 20+-point outings.
- Has a total of five 20+ point games in her collegiate career, matching Kat Tudor for the most by any player on the Oregon State roster.

PIVEC AND ROLL: Mikayla Pivec Quick Hitters

- Failed to score in double-figures on Sunday for the first time this season.
- Leads the team with 9.4 rebounds per game this season, the fourth-best mark in the Pac-12, and the highest total among Pac-12 guards.
- Is eighth in the nation in terms for rebounds per game from the guard position,
- Leads the team in rebounds, blocks and steals, and is second in both points and assists.
- Has at least eight rebounds in four-straight games.
- Is closing in on 800 career points, currently sitting at 758.
- Has not converted a 3-pointer in four-straight games.

- Earned CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team honors and Pac-12 All-Academic First Team honors in her sophomore year.

MAUI CLASSIC:
- Oregon State will host the Maui Jim Maui Classic for the third-straight year this week.
- The Beavers are 4-0 all-time at the event, with wins over BYU, Idaho, Nevada and Utah State.
- Mikayla Pivec earned Maui Classic All-Tournament honors last season.
- This year's event will be held at the Lahaina Civic Center, marking the first time the tournament has been played in that location. The previous two tournaments were played at the War Memorial Gymnasium in Wailuku.
- BYU's Kalani Purcell holds the tournament scoring record with 21 points.
- As part of the tournament's tradition, all four teams at the event will participate in community service activities at local elementary schools.

GREAT SCOTT: Scott Rueck Quick Hitters
- Inked a contract extension last offseason that runs through the 2026-27 season.
- 2017 John R. Wooden Pac-12 Coach of the Year, becoming one of five coaches in conference history to win the honor multiple times.
- Record at Oregon State is 186-90 making him the second-winningest coach in Oregon State history. Aki Hill holds the Oregon State wins record with 274.
- Rueck engineered an accelerated turnaround at Oregon State, bringing the program into national prominence during his eight seasons as head coach.
- Prior to joining Oregon State, Rueck served as head coach at George Fox in Newburg, Ore., where he built the program into a Division III national power, winning an NCAA title in 2009.
- Rueck's teams have consistently been known for outstanding defense. The Beavers have allowed 56.4 points per game over the course of his tenure. George Fox allowed just 48.3 points per contest in 2009-10, Rueck's final year there, and set a school record with 45.4 points allowed under Rueck in 2007-08.
- Graduated from Oregon State in 1991.

KT McBUCKETS: Katie McWilliams Quick Hitters
- All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention and Defensive Honorable Mention last season
- Played in her 112th career game on Sunday, making her 62nd career start.
- Has converted 12 of her 21 3-point attempts on the season. McWilliams would be fifth in the nation if she had converted the two per game needed to be eligible in the category (has 12 in eight games).
- Is a perfect 7-for-7 from the line this season, and has made nine-straight free throws dating back to last season.
- Is shooting 50.9 percent on the season.
- Cheryl Miller Award watch list, which recognizes the top-20 small forwards in the nation.
- Led the Beavers with an average of 32.7 minutes per game last season.
- Scored in double-figures in 10 of Oregon State's final 14 games of last season.
- Finished last season 34th in the nation in assist/turnover ratio at 2.36.
- Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team honoree last season, and All-Academic Honorable Mention as a sophomore.
- Shot 45.5 percent from the floor last season, the best percentage for an Oregon State guard on the year.
- Pac-12 Freshman Honorable Mention in 2015-16.
- Went 3-for-3 from 3-point range against UConn in the 2016 Final Four.

- Has scored at least 14 points in three-straight games, and is averaging 18 points per game over that span.
- Has 15 triples over her last four games, and is shooting 58 percent from the floor during that span.
- Had 44 3-pointers in Pac-12 play in 2017-18, with 32 of them coming in five games (5 vs. Washington, 7 vs Washington State, 6 vs. Arizona, 7 vs. Oregon, 7 at Washington).

- Earned a five-star rating from ESPN, and was ranked the No. 6 forward in her signing class.

#AL3AH: Aleah Goodman Quick Hitters
- Pac-12 All-Freshman Honorable Mention last season
- Has scored at least eight points in three-straight games.
- Has hit seven of her last 10 3-pointers
- Has at least three assists in three-straight contests.
- Her 3-point percentage of 46.2 would have been good for third in the nation last season, if Goodman had reached the NCAA minumum for 3-pointers made (Requirement is two 3-pointers per game played, Goodman had 49 triples in 31 games).
- Played the final game of her high school career at Gill Coliseum, leading La Salle to a state title.

- Associate Athletic Trainer Jason Lieuw (code name Spam) is the longest serving member of the Oregon State staff, currently in his 104th year with the team
- Voice of the Beavers Ron Callan has called 343 Oregon State women's basketball games since joining the program in the 2007-08 season, holding a record of 211-132 during that span.
