UCLA takes 6-0 win.
Los Angeles, Calif. – Oregon State women's soccer team fell to No. 9 UCLA, 6-0, in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon.
The match started with Oregon State's defense coming up with an early stop to prevent UCLA, but the Bruins still managed to find the back of the net on four occasions in the first half.
Freshman Helena Brown made a 50-yard run with the ball midway through the first half that led to the Beavers getting a corner kick. Kaillen Fried chipped the ball from the corner that Sydney Studer got her foot on, but the ball would end up going wide of the goal.
The Beavers continued to battle through the second half, but UCLA scored two more goals in the second half.
Redshirt-junior goalkeeper, Lindsay LaMont, finished with nine saves.
Oregon State returns home next Thursday to host Arizona and on Sunday for Senior Day against Arizona State.
