Last Game
Nick Madrigal extended his hit streak to 13 games with a first-inning triple but the Beavers dropped the series opener to the Wildcats, 6-1, Friday night at Hi Corbett Field. The Beavers scored first, but UA scored three in the fourth to go up for good.

• Saturday's game will air live on KEX 1190 AM in the Portland region.
• Rip City Radio 620 AM, the Beavers' regular station in the Portland region, will air the Portland Trail Blazers playoff game.
• The Beavers will return to Rip City Radio for Sunday's series finale.
Madrigal Pushes To 13
• Nick Madrigal extended his hit streak to 13 games with a first-inning triple in Friday's game.
• Madrigal is now one game shy of equaling his season-long 14 gamer.
• The freshman has a hit in 39 of the team's 42 games. He reached safely via walks in two of his three games without a hit.
• He accepted an invitation to compete for the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team this week. It was announced on Friday.
Against Arizona
• The Wildcats claimed the series opener on Friday for the first time since 2011. That was an 18-0 win for Arizona and the Beavers responded by winning their next 11 straight.
• The Beavers have inched the all-time series closer to .500, with Arizona holding a 34-32 lead.
• OSU has won the last three series and seven of the last eight. The lone sweep over that stretch was in 2013 at Arizona.
On TV
• Saturday's game is on Pac-12 Network and Pac-12 Oregon, marking the Beavers' ninth game on television this season.
• Eleven of the Beavers' 12 remaining games will be broadcast on either ESPNU or the Pac-12 Network. The lone game not to be broadcast will be Tuesday's matchup against Portland in Keizer.
