CORVALLIS, Ore. – KJ Harrison hit a solo home run in the bottom of the 11^th inning to send the Oregon State baseball team to a 2-1 win over Fresno State Friday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

Harrison hit it deep over the left field fence off reliever William Munro, sending the Beavers to their sixth straight victory and first over the Bulldogs since the 1991 season.

The home run capped off what amounted to a pitcher's duel in the first game of the series between the teams. Oregon State (10-3 overall) starter Andrew Moore went 10 innings, allowing just three hits and a run while striking out 10. He gave way to Mitch Hickey in the 11^th, who kept Fresno State off the board to earn his fourth win of the season.

Fresno State (7-6) starter Jimmy Lambert was equally as sharp, albeit for three less innings than Moore. Lambert also allowed just three hits and a run before giving way to his bullpen, which held the Beavers to two hits and a run over the final three-plus innings.

Munro dropped to 0-1 on the year.

Fresno State took a 1-0 lead in the fourth when Taylor Ward hit into a double play, enabling Austin Guibor to score from third. The Beavers tied the game in the sixth when Jeff Hendrix hit his fourth home run of the season, it coming off Lambert.

Moore allowed two hits in the fourth, then gave up an infield single to Jesse Medrano in the sixth inning. Moore and Hickey then combined to allow just three baserunners the rest of the game.

The Beavers and Bulldogs continue the series with a doubleheader Saturday at Goss Stadium. First pitch of game one is slated for 1:05 p.m. PT, with game two starting approximately 30-45 minutes after the completion of game one.
