Albert Roblez, Dax Whitney Both Named To Two All-American Teams

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State right-handed pitchers Albert Roblez and Dax Whitney were both named to All-America teams as announced by Perfect Game and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).
Roblez is a first-teamer per both organizations. Whitney, meanwhile, was named first-team by Perfect Game and second-team by the NCBWA. Whitney is an All-American for the second consecutive year while Roblez has been selected for the first time in his career.
Roblez, from Moreno Valley, Calif., finished the 2026 season with 14 saves and a 2-1 record in 24 appearances. He finished with a 1.50 ERA, and held opponents to a .173 batting average while striking out 53 in 30 innings.
Whitney, from Blackfoot, Idaho, finished the season with a 6-1 record and 2.00 earned run average. He started 11 games, striking out 104 over 63 innings. He held opponents to 42 hits and .185 batting average while posting a 0.95 WHIP.
Roblez and Whitney join Travis Bazzana (2024), Cooper Hjerpe (2022), Jacob Melton (2022), Adley Rutschman (2019), Trevor Larnach (2018), Jake Thompson (2017) and Michael Conforto (2013 and 2014) as first-team selections by Perfect Game.
Roblez, meanwhile, is the 13th NCBWA First-Team selection dating back to Jacoby Ellsbury in 2005. Others include: Bazzana (2024), Melton (2022), Hjerpe (2022), Rutschman (2019), Larnach (2018), Thompson (2017), and Conforto (2014) in addition to Bridger Holmes (2024), Luke Heimlich (2017), Ben Wetzler (2014) and Jace Fry (2014).
Their selections give the Beavers at least one All-American in 16 consecutive seasons dating back to 2011. Oregon State now has multiple All-Americans in 10 of
those 16 seasons.
Roblez is also the 17th different Beaver to be named an All-American during Mitch Canham's seven-season tenure leading the program. He is the 51st All-American in Oregon State's history.
