Western Illinois had 15 rebounds in the game, the fewest by an Oregon State opponent this season (California, 24 boards, on Jan. 5).
The Beavers are 6-2 all-time in CBI Tournament games.
Craig Robinson is 2-0 against Western Illinois with the first win in his first season as the head coach at Brown, 63-59, on Dec. 29, 2006 in the Flint Hills Resources Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Oregon State has won nine games by at least 20 points, the most in a season since the 1981-82 team won 10 times by 20 or more.
Senior Kevin McShane missed the game with a hip pointer he suffered in the semifinals of the Pac-12 Tournament against Arizona.
Jared Cunningham moved into 16th on Oregon State's career scoring list with 1,231 points to pass Chris Stephens (1,214), Freddie Boyd (1,221) and Calvin Haynes (1,226). Next on the list are Steve Woodside and Brian Jackson who are tied for 14th with 1,236 career points.
Cunningham passed Gary Payton (603) for the second-most points by a junior in Oregon State history with 605 and trails only Mel Counts who scored 661 in 1962-63.
Cunningham has 87 steals this season, the fourth-most in Oregon State single-season history to pass the 85 he had last season, and trails only Lester Conner (1981-82) and Gary Payton (1988-89), who each had 91, and Payton's school-record 100 in 1989-90.
Devon Collier broke the Oregon State sophomore blocked shots record with 43 to pass Scott Haskin (1989-90) and Steve Johnson (1978-79) with 42 each. Collier broke the school's freshman blocked shots record last season with 23 (to pass Gary Payton's 20), but Eric Moreland has crushed it this season with 66 and counting.
Ahmad Starks has made 78 three-pointers this season to pass Chris Stephens (76) for first on Oregon State's sophomore list and second on the school's single-season list, trailing only Gary Payton who made 82 in 1988-89.
