MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• Tonight's announced attendance was 3,511.
• Oregon State will return to action Monday, March 23, to host Vermont in a College Basketball Invitational quarterfinal match-up at 7:00 p.m.
TEAM NOTES
• Head coach Craig Robinson recorded his 14th career victory at Oregon State.
• The win over Houston in the CBI marks the first non-Pac-10 post-season tournament victory since the Beavers knocked off New Mexico 85-82 in the NIT Tournament after the 1986-87 season.
• Wednesday's game against Houston was only the second meeting all-time, with the Beavers winning the only other meeting coming during the 1965-66 season 63-60.
• The Beavers held Aubrey Coleman, Houston's leading scorer (19.7 PPG) to just nine points on the night on 3-for-12 shooting.
• Oregon State held Houston to just 21.7 percent from the field in the first half on 5-of-23 shooting, 28.3 percent for the game (15-of-53) and just 22.2 percent from 3-point range (6-of-27).
• The Beavers shot 52.4 percent from the field in the second half (11-of-21).
• Oregon State held Houston to a season low 45 points.
• From the free-throw line the Beavers shot 73.3 percent on 11-of-15 attempts.
• Oregon State out-rebounded Houston 40-29.
• The Beavers held a 31-2 advantage in bench scoring.
• Oregon State held a 24-12 points in the paint advantage.
• Oregon State had seven players record multiple rebounds.
• The Beavers held the assists edge 12-5.
PLAYER NOTES
• Sophomore Daniel Deane recorded a team high 14 points on a perfect 7-for-7 shooting, marking the first time Deane has scored in double-digits since scoring 10 against Seattle, Dec. 29, 2008.
• Sophomore Lathen Wallace recorded a career high nine rebounds and tied his career high with two steals.
• Junior Seth Tarver recorded a game high three steals. Tarver's three steals makes for 17 multiple steal performances this season.
• Junior Roeland Schaftenaar tied his career best and registered a game high in assists with six.
• Sophomore Omari Johnson scored in double-digits with 11 and tied his season high with two blocked shots. Johnson's 11 points marks the first time he has scored in double-figures since Jan. 31, 2009, against Oregon.
