Rowed in the 5 seat for the 2nd Varsity 8+ boat the University of Victoria and Gonzaga. Rowed in the 3 seat at the San Diego Crew Classic for the 2nd Varsity 8+ boat. Also rowed in the 2 seat for the Varsity 4 boat at the Michigan Invite, Washington State, and the Pac-12 Championship. Morgenthaler's 2nd Varsity 8+ boat finished first at both the University of Victoria and Gonzaga.

Lauren struggled with an injury in 2011 and spent most of the season in the Second Varsity 8 ... Raced in the 2V8 in a victory at Gonzaga ... 2V8 finished first in the Petite Final at the San Diego Crew Classic ... Rowed in the Varsity 4+ in a win at the Elk Lake Spring Regatta ... Rowed in the 2V8 at the Pac-10 Championships ... Invited to the USRowing U-23 National Team Camp at the High Performance Training Center in Oklahoma City, Okla. ...
