Tyler Copp is entering his fourth year with the Oregon State men’s basketball program and his second year as the Director of Player Personnel.
Copp was the Video Coordinator his first two years at Oregon State before being promoted prior to the 2019-20 season.
A native of Vancouver, Wash., Copp began his professional career as an assistant basketball coach at Pacific Lutheran University during the 2017-18 season.
Copp had instructional experience at several college basketball camps, including Oregon State, Utah, Washington State, Washington and Gonzaga.
He was a standout basketball player at Saint Martin’s University, playing in 120 games with 99 starts. He was a three-year team captain, scored 1,108 career points and helped lead the team to its first GNAC Tournament win in school history.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Saint Martin’s in 2017 and his masters in interdisciplinary studies from Oregon State in 2019.
Copp, the son of Mitch and Judi Copp, was born on Aug. 23, 1995 in Portland, Ore.
