Former Oregon State outfielder Braden Wells is in his second season as the Beavers’ Director of Student-Athlete Development.
Wells served as an undergraduate assistant coach for the Beavers in 2009 after playing outfield for OSU in 2007 and 2008.
Wells most recently was an assistant coach at Linn-Benton Community College. Prior to his stint with the Roadrunners, he was an assistant at Washington State from 2015-16. He served a three-year stint as an assistant coach at Concordia from 2013-15. Wells was also a graduate assistant at Grand Canyon in 2011 and 2012.
The Glendale, Ariz., native played in 88 games over two seasons at OSU. He batted .277 as a junior in 2007, helping the Beavers to the second of two consecutive national titles.
Wells played two seasons at Dixie State, where, as a sophomore, he was named First-Team All-Region after batting .358 with nine doubles, a triple and 31 RBI.
Wells was an All-State outfielder at Brophy College Prep in Arizona.
