Kyle Froemke, who lettered for Oregon State in 2021, is in his first season as an undergraduate assistant coach with the Beavers.
Froemke played in 19 games for Oregon State in 2021, batting .310 with two doubles, two home runs and six runs batted in. The campaign was his second at the Division I level following 35 games with Oregon in 2019. He hit a double and drove in eight that season.
Froemke signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization as an undrafted free agent. He played in 34 games in the Arizona League and with Rancho Cucamonga. He doubled five times, hit three home runs and drove in nine in 2022.
The Round Rock, Texas native was a Third-Team All-State selection as a senior at Round Rock High School. He batted .378 with two home runs and 21 RBI as a senior, while also finishing with a 0.88 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 32 innings.
