
Beavers Set to Host LMU

THE GAMES: The Oregon State women's soccer will return home to take on LMU Friday evening at Paul Lorenz Field.

UP NEXT: Oregon State will play its final nonconference game next week when it takes on Eastern Washington on Sept. 25. The Beavers will open conference place on Oct. 1 when they head to Washington State.Â

- Corvallis native Abby Smith has scored two goals for the Beavers this season.
- Sophia Zboyan, Lea Gentry and Ava Burdeyny were named to the Pac-12 Preseason Impact List
- Oregon State returns six players from last year's squad, compared to 22 newcomers
- Adele Schwab is Oregon State's leading returner, having started all 19 matches for the Beavers last season. The midfielder was tied for the team lead with eight points on the year.
- Oregon State returns to action as a member of the Pac-12 this season, after playing the prior two campaigns in the WCC. The Beavers are joined in the new-look conference by Boise State, San Diego State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Washington State, Texas State and Gonzaga.
- For the first time in conference history, the Pac-12 will hold a women's soccer tournament this year, with the top-four regular-season finishers making the event.
- Mya Sanchez, a two-time All-WCC Honorable Mention who started every game the past two seasons, graduated and signed a professional contract with Shelbourne FC in Ireland's League of Ireland Premier Division.
The Staff:
- Caroline Kelly took over as interim head coach prior to the 2024 season, and was promoted to head coach ahead of last season's campaign.Â
- Kelly also served as an assistant coach for the Beavers from 2021-23. Prior to that she had stints at Cincinnati, Army and Dartmouth
- Kwame Oduro was promoted to the role of Associate Head Coach ahead of the 2026 season. Oduro joined the Oregon State staff in the winter of 2025, after spending 10 years as the head coach of the St. Bonaventure men's soccer program.
- Connor Golley is in his first season on the Oregon State staff. He joins the Beavers after stints at Rhode Island and St. Bonaventure.
The Matchups:
- Oregon State is 2-3-1 all-time against LMU
- The two sides met as conference foes the last two seasons with the Beavers' playing as a WCC affiliate in 2024 and 2025.
- Oregon State's last win over LMU came in 2009.
- Adele Schwab scored when the Beavers met the Lions last season
