CORVALLIS – The Oregon State women's soccer team controlled the bulk of the match, but was unable to find the net, as the Beavers drew LMU 0-0 Friday evening at Paul Lorenz Field in Corvallis, Ore.

Oregon State out-shot LMU 18-5 in the contest, dominating the possession and the scoring chances throughout the 90 minutes. Libby Brooker made two saves in the match, holding her second consecutive clean sheet.

Lea Gentry created the Beavers' first scoring chance of the game, redirecting a cross onto net in the 20^th minute. Grace Wetzel forced a diving save with a curling effort moments later. The teams headed to the intermission level at zero.

Taylor Ayres nearly opened the scoring early in the second half, but her effort from the top of the box was just off frame. Adele Schwab sent one just over the crossbar minutes later.

Leanne Oropeza had her shot blocked in the 80^th minute, and Mary Hoffman sent a shot over the crossbar from close range shortly after. Brooker came up with a big save on a swerving shot in the 83^rd.

Emily Brandt pushed one just wide in the 87^th minute, as the Beavers continued to control the contest in the closing minutes. Sophia Zboyan narrowly missed in the 88^th minute, as the match ended in a scoreless draw.

The Beavers will hit the road next week for a matchup with Eastern Washington.
