Last Game
Albert Roblez got out of a bases-loaded jam in the eighth and picked up his seventh save of the season to help lead Oregon State to a 5-3 win over UC Irvine Saturday at Cicerone Field. Josh Proctor hit a seventh-inning home run and Ryan VandenBrink drove home two on a double in the first. Ethan Kleinschmit struck out three and allowed just an unearned run in six innings for his third win of the season. Scott and Roblez combined for eight strikeouts over the last three innings.

Oregon State Notables
• Eric Segura, Sunday's probable starter, has worked 11 1/3 innings over his last two appearances. The right-hander has held Xavier and San Diego to 10 hits and three walks over that stretch without allowing a run. He has struck out 13.
• Albert Roblez has now made two appearances all-time at Cicerone Field. He has eight strikeouts and allowed four hits and a run in five innings.
• Roblez is now just four saves shy of ninth for a single-season at Oregon State. The Beavers have played in 37.5 percent of their regular-season schedule thus far.
• Roblez has inherited 11 runners, with just one scoring.
• Oregon State recorded all 11 of their strikeouts from the fifth inning on in Saturday's win.
• The Beavers are 14-3 when holding an opponent to five runs or less. OSU is 189-52 when doing so in the Mitch Canham era.
• OSU's staff has allowed just eight hits over the first 18 innings of the series. The Beavers have given up just two extra-base hits.
• OSU's opponents are now batting .219 on the year.
• Ethan Kleinschmit saw his earned run average lower to 3.99 from 5.01 after going six innings Saturday. The team's ERA, meanwhile, dropped to 3.19.
• AJ Singer extended his hit streak to eight games in Saturday's win. He has eight hits during the streak.
• Singer is now also the only Beaver to start in every game this season. Jacob Galloway had started in 20 straight to start the year before coming on as a sub Saturday.
• Oregon State is 13-0 when taking a lead into the ninth and 210-8 under Canham since 2020.
• Sunday's game represents the seventh of eight straight away from home for Oregon State during a two-week stretch. The Beavers have just 11 games away from home in the regular season after the series finale.
