STARTING FIVE
- Oregon State is looking to go 2-for-2 on West Coast Conference Championships and earn its third straight trip to the NCAA Tournament on Tuesday against Gonzaga
- The Beavs and Zags split the season series with OSU winning an overtime thriller in Gill Coliseum before the Bulldogs dominated the rematch in Spokane in early Feb.
- The series history doesn't seem to favor the Beavers, but neither did Monday's. OSU had lost both games to LMU heading into the WCC Semifinal before pulling out a 73-67 victory over the Lions, led by Jenna Villa and a career day from Ally Schimel
- Schimel entered the game in a slump (2/14 3PT in the last 6 games) before nailing a career-high five triples on the way to another career-high of 21 points
- Villa struggled to shoot in the Beavers' opening game and contributed with rebounds and assists before catching fire on Monday en route to a team-high 22 points
LAST TIME OUT: NOTABLES
- OSU is 2/2 on #1 seed upsets in WCC
- OSU led for 31:40, LMU for 1:46
- Schimel - Career-high in pts (21) & three-pointers (5)
- Villa - 1 of 10 Beavs since 99-00 to make 100% of 10+ FTs (last: Kelsey Rees, 1/18/25 vs. Portland)
- Shuler - Ranks 6th in single-season assists with 174 (record: 203, Boky Vidic)
