Beavers Drop Road Rematch
February 05, 2026 | Women's Basketball
SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga evened the season series with Oregon State on Thursday night, knocking off the Beavers 67-37 at the McCarthey Athletic Center.
Â
Tiara Bolden was OSU's leading scorer with nine points and Jenna Villa added eight.
Â
The Beavs had a solid defensive game, holding Gonzaga to 31.2 percent shooting from the floor and 23.3 percent from three but uncharacteristically couldn't get shots to fall on the other end shooting just 24.5 percent and making one three-pointer.
Â
Oregon State got off to a solid offensive start with good looks overcoming four turnovers at the first media timeout. OSU trailed just 13-11 with Tiara Bolden scoring seven of the early points before Gonzaga closed the first on a 6-0 run.
Â
The Beavers played a strong defensive quarter in the second, holding Gonzaga to 21 percent shooting from the floor and 16 percent from three, but OSU struggled offensively with just 10 points as the Bulldogs built their lead up to 36-23 at halftime.
Â
The hosts pulled away in the second half, going on a 14-4 run to open the third quarter and lead 50-27. From there, Gonzaga maintained their advantage to the final buzzer to pick up the win.
Â
The Beavers' Pacific Northwest road trip continues Saturday at Portland. Oregon State tips off against the Pilots at 2 p.m. in the Chiles Center.
