Beavs Open 2025 with LBSU Tournament

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Chapter three of the Lindsey Behonick era for Oregon State volleyball opens this weekend in Long Beach with two matches on the docket.

The Beavers will face sixth-ranked Stanford on Saturday night (Aug. 30, 7 p.m.) before taking on the hosts, Long Beach, on Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m.

Oregon State will be led by a pair of all-conference selections in Annika Hester and Lauren Rumel in addition to other key returners.

Numbers to Know
1 – Rumel was the only WCC student-athlete named to the gold medal-winning Team USA at the U23 NORCECA Pan American Games earlier in August.
3 – The Beavers are one of three WCC schools to have three student-athletes from Hawai'i.
3 – In season three of the Behonick era, the Beavers will open a campaign in the third different state (Montana, Arizona and California).
8 – Oregon State will play in eight different California locales in 2025.
10 – Stanford and Long Beach will be among the 10 opponents from California for OSU this year.
40 – The Beavers will open the season in California for the first time in 40 years, last opening in the Golden State back on Sept. 5, 1985 in Stockton.
