Wilson Weber Selected In 12th Round Of MLB Draft By Miami

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State catcher Wilson Weber has been selected in the 12th round, 348th overall by the Miami Marlins in the Major League Baseball Draft on Monday.
Weber concluded his Oregon State career in 2025 having played in 122 games. He batted .287 with 25 doubles, five triples and 22 home runs with 96 runs batted in.
The Gresham, Ore., native hit .326 in his senior season, collecting 15 doubles with 12 home runs and 58 RBI. He was named a Second-Team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and was a First-Team Academic All-American by College Sports Communicators.
He is the ninth Beaver taken by the Marlins all-time and the second in 2025, following Aiva Arquette in the first round.
