Easton Talt and AJ Singer each recorded a pair of hits but 11th-ranked Oregon State was shut out by No. 12 UC Irvine, 12-0, Friday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. Talt doubled in the third, singled in the fifth and walked in the first to reach base three times. Singer also reached base three times, walking in the third and singling in the fifth and seventh innings. Gavin Turley, meanwhile, doubled in the fourth inning to extend his hit streak to 12 games, the longest of his career.
