• The 4,278 in attendance Friday night marked a Goss Stadium single-game record. OSU is now averaging 3,646 fans per home game. That currently ranks as the third-best single-season average in school history.
• The Beavers and Anteaters have met 11 times previously. UC Irvine holds a slight 6-5 advantage and the teams have split three games in Corvallis. Four of OSU's last five wins have been by four runs or more. Four of the last five losses have been by two runs or less.
• OSU is 3-3 against UC Irvine under Mitch Canham, last taking 2-of-3 at Goss Stadium in 2022.
