
Beavers Fall to Bruins in Pac-12 Tournament

LAS VEGAS, Nev. –  The Oregon State men's basketball team had its season come to a close Wednesday afternoon, as the Beavers fell to UCLA 67-57 in the opening round of the Pac-12 Conference Tournament at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

Tyler Bilodeau scored 13 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the floor, despite missing the bulk of the first half after picking up a pair of early fouls. Jordan Pope had 16 points, while Dexter Akanno ended his day with 14.

KC Ibekwe went 4-for-6 from the floor to end his day with 8 points. Justin Rochelin pulled down seven rebounds.

Oregon State used an early 7-0 run to take the lead into the game's first media timeout. UCLA answered with eight unanswered points to take a seven point lead mid-way through the first half. The Bruins extended the lead to double-figures late in the opening period and headed to the break leading 34-22.

The Beavers scored seven-straight points early in the second half to get back within eight. Back-to-back 3-pointers cut the deficit to four with 9:30 to play. Oregon State continued to battle, keeping the game within striking distance, but was unable to take the lead, as the Bruins took the win by 10.

Dylan Andrews led UCLA with 31 points, knocking down seven 3-pointers.
